Eliza Layne Ridge

Hi all! I always think of tons of great things to write here, but then I go to write it, and it is late, and I am brain dead and have forgotten all of the great things to tell you (oh, and I write run-ons when I'm tired. Sorry!). So, this week Eliza continues to grow at an amazing speed. She is still a great baby. She went to a "prom" party with Claron and I. She even dressed retro in a pink polyester ruffled dress. I hope to have pictures of that to post next week. There was a photographer there that took a bunch of pictures, but I was unable to procure them by "post time." Eliza apparently loves parties. She was so well behaved. She watched everyone and listened to the music. AND... She slept 8.5 hours after the prom! I told Claron that we are going to need to start taking her out dancing more often. Well enough of my babble... Here is what you are all looking at the site for... the pictures!

Eliza is great as always. She is growing like crazy! She attended her first wedding and was a dream! Congratulations to Mark and Kristen! =-)

Well, Eliza is just fantastic! She has been on many new and exciting adventures. She has now been out of Santa Barbara County venturing as far as Ventura County. She also had her first elevator ride, her first stroller ride, her first ocean view, and her first lunch at a restaurant... And as always, she was just a dream. She is growing ridiculously fast! She has now outgrown her 0-3 months clothing and is even too tall for some of her 3-6 months!!! Attached below are more new pictures:

Well, Eliza is almost a month old now and is doing fabulously. She continues to be a very easy baby and is a joy to have around. She was recently visited by her Grandma and Grandpa Ridge and Uncle Clark and Aunt Lilly. Grandma is staying with us to help out and has been awesome. Eliza was given a baby blessing by Claron on Sunday and was perfectly behaved. She continues to grow at an amazing rate and will soon outgrow her 0-3 months clothes. They are getting a bit tight already! And, she has already graduated to a size 2 diaper! Here are some pictures from this week:

Eliza is now 3 weeks old and is doing great. We took her to the doctor. She is now 10 lbs and 22 and 3/4 inches long. She is in the 90% percentile for her weight and the >97% percentile for her height. The doctor said that she is amazingly healthy and is doing wonderfully. She is going to have her baby blessing this Sunday and I will post pictures of that later. Here are some pictures from this week:
