Eliza Layne Ridge

Well the first two weeks have been great. Eliza is a relatively easy baby. She sleeps a lot and cries usually only if hungry or if her tummy hurts.

She makes great faces and according to her visitors is labeled as "beautiful," "perfect," and "alert." The consensus is that she looks like her daddy.

Claron and I are delighted to announce that Eliza Layne Ridge joined our family on Wednesday, January 10 at 3:20 p.m. She weighed 9 lbs 2 oz and was 22 inches long. Eliza is a lovely little lady with a headful of brown hair that curls when wet. Her eyes are still a mystery and are currently a dark grey blue. Eliza, Claron and I are all doing very well. Grandma (my mother) is here to assist until February. We have had tons of visitors and well wishers and are truly blessed to have so much wonderful support.
